Résumé

James Gilna is a painter and printmaker currently based in Dublin, Ireland. Working mostly in the figurative tradition his focus is on the possibilities of portraiture and landscape. As a painter his medium is oil paint on linen mounted panel, as a printmaker he uses hard and soft etching, drypoint and monotype.
